For the first time since 2015, Blink-182 will reunite with Tom DeLonge for a new international tour, which the band announced in typical Blink-182 fashion.
The group, who are set to release their new single ‘Edging’ this week, surprised fans on Tuesday, October 11, by unexpectedly announcing their reunion on their official social media accounts.
According to a band’s Facebook post: “We’re on our way. The tour is approaching. The album is on its way. Tom will arrive shortly. Tickets go on sale on Monday. EDGING, a new song will be released on Friday.”

A video with the band’s trademark x-rated wordplay on the idea that the band is “coming” back with a brand new tour was included in the post.
This euphemistic language is repeated in the title of the band’s new single, ‘Edging.’
Needless to say, many fans have expressed their delight at the news, with many expressing their appreciation for the band’s signature adult humour.
One tearful fan exclaimed: “I’m about to burst into tears. Tom has returned. The band is back together. I adore you two.”
Turnstile will open the tour in North America, Rise Against in Australia, The Story So Far in the United Kingdom and Europe, and Wallows in Latin America, according to Variety.
The band’s tour tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 17 at blink182.com.
Blink-182 was founded in 1992 by DeLonge and Hoppus, with Barker joining as drummer in 1998. In 2005, the band went on hiatus to focus on other projects, with DeLonge working with his band Angels & Airwaves.
They reformed in 2009 for a tour and new music, but DeLonge eventually left the band in 2015. Matt Skiba of the Alkaline Trio then replaced DeLonge.
