Boruto Chapter 6 will be released soon, and the fandom has already come up with their predictions. The previous chapter saw an emotional reunion between the two best friends, Sarada and Boruto, and the fans hope that the much-needed progress has finally begun! Boruto: Two Blue Vortex dealt with the reintroduction of the characters and was setting up the progress for the story. However, this resulted in a slow pace of the initial five chapters of the series, and several fans complained about how monotonous the progress was getting. Fans are now hoping for Boruto Chapter 6 to pick up the pace from here on and are expecting the story to focus on the present generation.
Boruto Chapter 5: A Brief Recap
The previous chapter dealt with how Sasuke tried to save Boruto from Code’s wrath, and that’s where we know how Sasuke became a tree. We also learn the Shinju or the “cloned” Grims have decided on their targets to devour and absorb their powers. Shikamaru and Sai learned about memory manipulation from the conversation between Amado and Sumire. The final panels had an emotional reunion between Sarada and Boruto.
Boruto Chapter 6: What To Expect (Spoiler Prediction)
Boruto Chapter 6 will introduce the circumstances following the time skip. There may be more details made available regarding Boruto’s innocence of not betraying the town or killing his parents. As for Momoshiki, who utilized Boruto’s body as a vessel before the time skip arc, fans are still curious about what happened to him because there was no mention of Momoshiki in the initial chapters.
A New Drama May Evolve In Konoha Village
In the previous chapter, Boruto and Sarada reunite after almost three years, and Sarada rushes to hug him. This reunion, however, may be cut short in Boruto Chapter 6 by Mitsuki and Kawaki as soon as they detect Boruto’s presence in the village. Kawaki has vowed to murder Boruto whenever he sees him in Konoha. Similarly, Mitsuki has pledged to get retribution on the person responsible for the Seventh Hokage’s disappearance from Konoha. However, Mitsuki’s reaction will be interesting because he has started questioning Kawaki’s intention, as seen in the opening chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Eida Might Reveal Partial-Truth To Shikamaru
One of the Grimes’ targets is Eida herself, and due to her omnipotence abilities, she is presently in danger. In Boruto Chapter 6, Eida might reveal partial truth to the 8th Hokage, Shikamaru, to save herself from the new villains. She might even spill out the truth about Naruto and how Kawaki has manipulated the entire village using her abilities. Shikamaru is already aware of the memory manipulation he heard from the conversation between Amado and Sumire, he might end up believing Eida!
Shinju May Attack Konoha
In Boruto Chapter 5, it was clear that Konoha was under serious threat. The Shinju had chosen their targets, as seen in the previous chapter. Fans believe that the Shinjus selected their victims based on the connections they have with the individuals they have already consumed. Since the Shinjus were made from the Ten Tail’s flesh, they have inherited many of the beast’s characteristics. Boruto Chapter 6 may show the Shinjus preparing to attack Konoha village altogether.
Konoha Village May Unite With Boruto To Fight The Enemies
Shikamaru could ask Boruto to join him in the fight against the new enemies aiming for Konoha Village. Since most people are still under Eida’s omnipotence, this might draw undesirable attention, and some people might not be happy to have him back in the village. However, Boruto may know something about the Claw Grimes and Code because he has been chasing them for a long time. Konoha’s alliance with Boruto might be very beneficial for the Shinobi world.
Final Thoughts:
Boruto Chapter 6 may feature some actions again in the upcoming chapter. Mikio Ikemoto has already mentioned that he won’t drag the Boruto series too much, so fans should anticipate a possible drop in the pace as not much is left in the story to discover.
