Boruto chapter 81 will soon be released. Many fans were left in suspense as to what would happen next after the release of chapter 80. However, the manga went on a long hiatus, leaving fans more anxious waiting for the next chapter.
Boruto Manga Volume 20 was announced on June 2, 2023. The main focus, however, was the announcement that the manga will commence soon. The main story is yet to unfold after the time skip that is expected in Boruto chapter 81.
When will Boruto Chapter 81 come out?
On June 2nd, 2023 Viz Media announced Boruto manga Volume 20 release. The volume confirmed the release date of Boruto chapter 81. The manga will commence on August 21, 2023. The cover of the manga volume reads, “Part 1 is Complete!! Commence the parading for the time skip.”
This is a huge announcement, as the manga went on a three-month hiatus after the release of chapter 80 in May. It is a long gap after a cliffhanger that left fans wondering how the story will progress from here. Needless to say, many fans are excited about the announcement and are eagerly waiting for what Boruto Chapter 81 has to offer. Seems like the time skip will also soon take place and fans will be able to see gown-up Boruto and his friends.

Previously in Boruto chapter 80
Eida fell in love with Kawaki. In order to protect him from the villagers who think he killed Boruto, she uses her omnipotent power to reverse their position. She turns Kawaki into Naruto’s son while Boruto is the outsider who tried to kill Kawaki. The whole village of Konoha is trying to find Boruto to seek revenge.
Brouto manages to escape, while Sarada seems to be unaffected by Eida. She runs to her father, Sasuke who is also on the search for Boruto and asks him to protect Boruto. Sasuke tells Sarada to go home as he is still affected by Eida’s powers, this unlocks Sarada’s Mangekyō Sharingan. Sasuke then takes Boruto and runs from the spot. Eida tries to follow them but cannot catch up.
Boruto then prepares himself to seek revenge from Kawaki while Kawaki still wants to kill Boruto. Code, now thinks that Boruto stole Eida from him and also wants revenge. Fans were left with this cliffhanger and are eagerly waiting for chapter 81 to release. The expectations for Boruto chapter 81 and the chapters thereafter have increased and fans will not be satisfied with anything less than amazing.
