The Boruto dub stands out as one of the most eagerly anticipated releases, captivating fans with the continuing adventures that have kept the Naruto franchise thriving. With a total of 294 episodes in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, only 231 episodes are currently available in dubbed form. Beyond this point, the dubbed episodes are not accessible on any platform.
Fans had high hopes for Crunchyroll’s 2024 dub schedule, which featured several popular anime series. However, fans notably felt the absence of Boruto. Even in the 2023 lineup, Boruto did not make an appearance, prolonging the anticipation for its return. Unfortunately, the latest Crunchyroll schedule does not include Boruto dubbed, suggesting that fans might have to endure a more extended wait for its release.
The journey of Boruto has not been without its share of controversies. Previously, under the rights of Toonami, 52 episodes were dubbed and released. However, a shift in rights to VIZ Media led to Toonami removing those episodes. VIZ Media then took on the task of redubbing the episodes, causing a delay in the entire dubbing process. While the sub concluded months ago, the dubbed version remains in limbo, incomplete, and abandoned.

Those with Hulu subscriptions can access a total of 155 dubbed episodes, providing a silver lining. However, for the remaining episodes, fans find themselves in a waiting game, eagerly anticipating an announcement from VIZ Media regarding the release of the new dubbed set of Boruto’s latest episodes.
Boruto Dub Set 17 will be out by March 2024
Fans anxious for additional dubbed episodes may look forward to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Set 17, which will be released on March 26, 2024. Unfortunately, the release date for the dubbed version on Hulu is unknown and may be delayed significantly.
Fans can place pre-orders for Set 17 through the Crunchyroll store. Predicated on the historical trend, it is anticipated that Set 17 will comprise episodes 256-288; however, the precise number of episodes has yet to be formally disclosed.
Currently, it is unclear when the next batch of episodes will be released on Hulu, and there is a possibility that it may extend until mid-2024. As the Boruto dub saga continues, fans remain hopeful for updates that will bring closure to the lingering wait and allow them to experience the full arc of Boruto’s adventures in dubbed form.
