Boruto fans want Sarada and Boruto to repeat that specific incident in the show. Remember the iconic scene where Sakura and Sasuke meet after three long years in Naruto Shippuden?
But is it possible? Let’s find out! This Reddit Thread explores the possibilities of a re-enactment of the iconic Sasuke-Sakura scene.
Boruto Fans Want This Iconic Scene To Be Reenacted by Boruto And Sarada (Spoilers Ahead!!)
As we know from the previous chapters, the Leaf Village people have their memory manipulated through Eida’s omnipotence abilities and have turned against Boruto, accusing him of killing their Seventh Hokage.
This happened due to Kawaki’s intense obsession with Naruto, protecting and keeping him in a safe and peaceful world. This obsession has led Kawaki to take a drastic step to isolate Boruto with the help of Eida, blaming him and eventually trying to kill him because he suspects Momoshiki is still inside him.
This situation eventually led Boruto to flee the village with Sasuke.
In Naruto Shippuden, episode 51, we see the iconic scene where Sasuke and Sakura meet after three years.
Few Boruto fans believe it is unlikely, as Mikio Ikemoto, Boruto’s illustrator, isn’t fond of Double Spread Pages. Although, fans do wish he was.
“For this to happen, Ikemoto would have to do a double page spread. So it’s extremely unlikely.”

“not gonna happen because boruto manga artist hates double spread”

While Boruto might not have deliberately left the village, Sasuke certainly did. Despite being controlled by Orochimaru, Sasuke nonetheless decided to allow his desire for revenge against his brother Itachi to rule his actions.
“Couldn’t a parallel also be how Sasuke is consumed by hatred and revenge for losing everything to his brother while Boruto is keeping his head up after losing everything to his brother?”

But is the reenaction of the same scene even possible? Well, Boruto fans think, apparently not!
“Doubt it. With Boruto’s karma enabling teleportation and Eida promising to keep Boruto’s location secret there’s no way the should be able to track them.”

Even if it was possible, Boruto fans do not like the idea of Sasuke 2.0. Instead, they would better like it if the series maintained some originality.
“Can he just not have an original story? It’s called Boruto, not Naruto. This is another reason why so many despise the series, no originality.”

“No. I’m tired of people trying to turn Boruto into Sasuke 2.0.”

Even if an exact parallel moment may not be achievable in the chapters that follow the time skip, there is no harm in hoping for another memorable reunion scene. Boruto fans may anticipate a reunion scene after the time skip, even if it isn’t a recreation.
