The promotional spread of the upcoming Volume 8 shows that this new arc will be the main highlight.

The story of the next volume will mostly focus on Boruto and Kawaki’s training and the power of their scar marks. The better they understand it, they better the chances of getting rid of it.
But, the promotional tease also hints to a lot of tension.
These boys will be connected through their friendship, or by something else… What will happen when the pursuing ‘Kara’ approaches the ‘Vessel’…!?
In the last few chapters, Delta, one of the most powerful Kara members, had come to claim Kawaki. Delta has already proved his spot on the show. Kawaki had stated that he is one of the ‘Inners’ (the strongest Kara members). After Naruto’s fight with Delta, he is expected to protect both his children at any cost.
