As the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is progressing its pace, fans are coming up with a variety of new Boruto Spoilers now and then. While the theories seem very intriguing, and probably the writers are finally listening to the fans, which was evident from the last chapter of Boruto, fans feel that Boruto TBV is missing out on something big. This time, this new Boruto theory may play a significant role in the upcoming chapter.
Boruto Spoilers: Orochimaru May Play A Significant Role In The Upcoming Chapter Of Two Blue Vortex
In the last Boruto series, Orochimaru was given a lot less credit. He was introduced as one of the scientists, who is reputed to be the legendary Sanins, knowing all the possible jutsus. His credibility should have been recognized in the former Boruto series when Boruto’s body was used as a vessel by Momoshiki. A Reddit user, u/Fit-Fishing-9994, pointed out how the writers missed a huge opportunity to show Orochimaru in a much more significant role in the Boruto series.
If we recall Naruto Shippuden, Orochimaru imprinted Sasuke with the cursed seal during the Chunin exams. This cursed seal mark is almost similar to Boruto’s, who received his Karma from Momoshiki during his fight with him. The Curse mark shares many characteristics with the Karma mark. For starters, it gives the “host” immense power while they are in danger, as we have seen in the case of both Boruto and Sasuke or the person who places these marks can revive themselves in the body of the “host.”
The thing that bugs me the absolute most about the boruto story is that we know for a fact Orochimaru knows SOMETHING about the otsutsuki and yet nobody has even questioned him…..For starters the Curse Mark works almost identical to the karma marking. It’s so the person who places the mark can be reborn in the body of the vessel that has the marking. The host has to be suitable etc etc. We know Orochimaru traveled the world and “discovered” ways to immortality even though it’s not fully explained how or where he came across this information. Im pretty sure he obviously came across some otsutsuki scrolls or something of the that manner.

The new Boruto spoilers point out that the fans have a reason to believe Orochimaru knows something about Karma and the Otsutsukis, given that he has traveled the entire world to gain knowledge and become immortal.
Really a missed opportunity. Tsunade and Orochimaru were PERFECT characters to be brought in regarding Karma. They even comment about how the Karma is very similar to the Byakugou seal. I would also have loved to see how a reunion between Tsunade and Orochimaru would go after all of these years too. So much missed potential *sigh*

Boruto Spoilers: Similarities Between The Cursed Seal And The Karma
As the new Boruto spoilers have indicated, Orochimaru might know something about the Otsutsukis and the Karma; let us look at the similarities between the Karma and the Cursed seal. The Karma and the Cursed Seal are not 100% similar, but some of the features of the Cursed Seal resemble the Karma seal. Both seals have two stages, and in the first, the marking spreads throughout the body, transferring great power to the host.
The second stage of the seals grants the host physical transformations and power. In the cursed seal, transformations are unique, while in the karma seal, the host resembles an Otsutsuki. Karma overwrites the host’s genetics, creating a vessel for Otsutsuki reincarnation. This happens because Karma can alter its host’s genetic composition to provide a suitable vessel for the Otsutsuki to reincarnate into that host. Both of these marks can harm the host’s mental activity. However, Karma, on the other hand, can entirely control the host’s body, whereas Orochimaru’s cursed seal cannot.
You never know this could very well still be on the table. As the saying goes, “Kishimoto doesn’t do anything for nothing”. People really thought he was enough of an idiot to just leave the Koji plot thread loose, I promise you, everything we’ve seen up until now is waiting in the wings. I mean who really had Flying Raijin Boruto AND Koji returning in the same chapter on their bingo card? I think that caught almost everyone off-guard. Let. Kishimoto. Cook.
