The Boston Celtics are not done with the NBA trade window yet. Although they have filled every but one slot available on their roster, they are expected to fill that one vacant space as well. They traded Marcus Smart for Kristaps Porzingis and also landed Oshae Brissett, Dalano Banton, Jordan Walsh, and Svi Mykhailiuk this offseason.
Even after such a busy offseason, they can sign another player. Here are three players we think that the Boston Celtics can acquire before the trade window ends.
Suns’ TJ Warren to the Boston Celtics
The 30-year-old power forward played 16 games for the Suns last season and averaged 4.2 points, 0.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 31.6 percent from beyond the arc. He also appeared in 26 games with the Nets before that and averaged 9.5 points, 1.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. The player would be an upgrade for the Celtics since the players they currently have for the position do not score this many points. He can help in sharing the burden of scoring with Tatum and Brown.
Free agent 7-footer Neemias Queta is finalizing a two-way NBA contract with the Boston Celtics, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Queta spent the past two seasons with the Kings, who drafted him in the second round in 2021.

The Boston Celtics resign Blake Griffin
The 34-year-old forward played 41 games for the Celtics last season and averaged 4.1 points, 1.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 34.8 percent from beyond the arc. The player has managed to impress both the management and the fans. The veteran started on the bench in nearly 60 percent of the games and kept the locker room environment enjoyable.

Pistons’ Hamidou Diallo to the Boston Celtics
The Detroit Pistons shooting guard played 56 games for them last season and averaged 9.3 points, 1 assist, and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 57.3 percent from the field. The Pistons did not use him last season and would be willing to trade him off, while the Celtics would fancy getting him at a low price.
