The Boston Celtics’ guard Malcolm Brogdon is set to part ways with the Celtics this offseason. The player is prone to injuries and that is why the Celtics, who will be contending for the title, would not like to risk a non-durable player like him. There were also rumors that the 30-year-old is not happy with the management and he wants to move out as well.
The Virginia Cavaliers product, Brogdon, played 67 games for the Celtics last season and averaged 14.9 points, 3.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 44.4 percent from beyond the arc. He has got some impressive stats under his name, and teams would love to have him on their roster. Here we look at the three teams which can be Malcolm Brogdon’s next destination.
Malcolm Brogdon to the Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers were expected to land the Philadelphia Sixers’ James Harden, but the deal is yet to happen. It is very unlikely that the Sixers would trade James to the Clippers. The management would like to land an immediate fix for the situation. Injuries have been an issue for the Clippers as well. Will they sign another injury-prone player to fix it?

Malcolm Brogdon to the Houston Rockets
The Rockets will not receive the services of Kevin Porter Jr. anymore, so they would be delighted to land Brogdon. They can send away Kevin with a draft pick which will give them financial relief along with a quality guard. But the Celtics might want to get a quality player in return as well; in that case, this deal might not go through.

Malcolm Brogdon to the Phoenix Suns
The Suns would love to acquire Malcolm, but they would need to include De’Andre Ayton which is something they are very much reluctant about. The Celtics would ask for Ayton since they want a replacement for Robert Williams. This trade has multiple permutations and combinations. It would be interesting to say who else gets involved in the trade if it gets through.
Where will we see Malcolm Brogdon playing in the upcoming season? Will the Celtics choose to keep him for themselves only? We’ll keep you updated.
