Justine Fortune talks about Pacquiao vs Thurman
Fortune believes that Thurman wasn’t the guy who the public saw against Josetito Lopez, and that his strategies will be different. Further, Justine Fortune also said that Manny Pacquiao will need the wisdom and expert coaching of veteran trainer Freddie Roach in the upcoming fight.
Justin Fortune shared these thoughts in one of his recent interviews. Manny Pacquiao and the undefeated American Keith Thurman square up on July 20. The interview was surrounding that fight, and two particular things that Fortune said stood out. First, Fortune was insistent that Manny Pacquiao must not base the opponent just by looking at his last fight.
Justine Fortune says Thurman could ‘run’ during Pacquiao vs Thurman fight
Keith Thurman had a pretty tough game in the fight, and only just came in top. According to Fortune, the Keith Thurman that Manny Pacquiao will face will be much much fitter, in a better shape, and in his peak performance. Fortune also added that Thurman is a very mobile fighter, something that we didn’t see much from the American boxer in his last fight.
Second, Fortune said that Manny Pacquiao would need the help of the wonderful trainer Freddie Roach for the upcoming battle. Fortune believes that the fight will be a technical one, and this is where Freddie Roach’s wisdom will give Manny Pacquiao a huge edge.
Fortune added that he had the feeling that Thurman would not fight toe to toe with Manny in the fight. He even suggested that the American might make a run for it!
