Brad Pitt confessed that he didn’t want to miss out on the chance to kiss Margot Robbie.
Margot Robbie recently confessed that she didn’t want to miss even one chance to kiss Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. Pitt has now confessed that sharing an onscreen kiss with his co-star Margot Robbie while filming the upcoming drama/comedy Babylon was his idea.
During a recent interview with The Project’s Waleed Aly on Monday, Brad Pitt let slip that he didn’t want to pass the opportunity to make out with the Australian beauty. ‘No [it wasn’t in the script]. I had asked for it if we can write that in,’ he laughed. ‘You know, when was I going to get a chance to do this again? And we did it.’

‘I might add too that Nellie (Margot’s character) kisses fifteen people in this movie,’ Robbie explained before Pitt joked that Nellie was probably carrying a few S*xually transmitted diseases (STDs). Directed by Damien Chazelle of La La Land fame, Babylon stars Brad and Margot as debauched movie stars in the Roaring Twenties.
Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie previously appeared together in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time… Prior to Babylon, they had never actually acted together in Hollywood. The picture is filled with wild, Dionysian parties and ribald antics, most of which involve Margot’s character, who is supposed to be inspired by the first ‘It girl’ Clara Bow.
Margot went viral earlier this month after telling E! News that she took matters into her own hands and kissed Brad in Babylon. ‘That wasn’t written in. But I thought to myself, “When else am I going to get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt?” “I’m just going to go for it,” she admitted.
Robbie confessed she was the one to kiss her co-star: ‘I said: “Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack.” And Damien was like: “Well, she could – wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt.”‘ Kissing Brad ‘was just great,’ she said, and although the first take went well, the director ‘was like: “No, do it again. That really works.” I was like: “Oh, great.”‘
Babylon’s cast also features Diego Calva, Jean Smart, Tobey Maguire, and Li Jun Li, and the film is set to be released in Australia on January 12, 2023. According to IMDb, the plot of Babylon is “decadence, depravity, and outrageous excess lead to the rise and fall of several ambitious dreamers in 1920s Hollywood.”
