Brad Pitt wore a skirt at the premiere of Bullet Train.
The 58-year-old actor wore a brown cardigan with a knee-length skirt for the screening of his new film in Berlin, Germany.
The Fight Club star wore a dusty rose button-up shirt, pendant accessories, and sunglasses.
Pitt’s shin tattoos, which appear to be a rhinoceros face and a human skull, gave people a rare peek at his tattoos.
According to British Vogue, in 2004 during the promotion of his film Troy, Pitt once said that he expected more men to add skirts to their wardrobe.
“Men will be wearing skirts by next summer,” he said at the time, per the publication. “That’s my prediction and proclamation. The film answers to both genders. We were going for realism and Greeks wore skirts all the time then.”
The Once Upon A Time star stated in an interview that getting older and cranky has changed the way he feels about his clothes.
“You get older, you get crankier, and comfort becomes more important. I think it’s as simple as that,” he said. “If I have a style, it’s no style,” before saying that he prefers high-quality stitching and tries to understand the way clothes make him feel.
“I like monochrome, without it being a uniform and I like simplicity. I like the details in the stitching, [and] the way it feels. If anything, that’s the only divining rod I have,” he added.
The actor said in the interview that his fashion is now led by comfort and quality, rather than trends.
“It’s those details that are important to me. It’s too exhausting to follow trends. And I despise billboards; I just don’t want to be a billboard,” he added.
Pitt’s latest movie is about five assassins who are on a bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka, only to discover that their assignments are not separate from each other.
The cast will be available to watch in theaters from August 3.
