The New Orleans Pelicans’ forward Brandon Ingram might get traded to the Atlanta Hawks this offseason. The Pelicans have been struggling with their consistency, and so do their players. They could not even make it to the playoffs last season, and that directs towards only one thing, which is multiple alterations on the roster. What would the Pelicans look for? Durability. But that would begin with trading off non-durable players.
The Duke Blue Devils product Brandon played 45 games for the Pelicans last season and averaged 24.7 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 39 percent from beyond the arc. He has been in the trade rumors for a while now, and this time it is not about an extension with the Pelicans. The player has been on the radar of the Warriors and the Hawks. Will the Hawks beat the Warriors at signing Brandon? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Atlanta Hawks involving Brandon Ingram.
What would the Hawks offer for Brandon Ingram?
The Hawks are expected to offer De’Andre Hunter, Onyeka Onkongwu, Jalen Johnson, and a first-round pick each from the years 2024 and 2029 in exchange for the Pelicans’ #14. The return value seems enough for the Pelicans to make them trade the 26-year-old, will they do it?
“He (Brandon Ingram) don’t see nobody when he pulls up to shoot. He pass and he make everybody better but like scoring? Effortless…”

Why would the Hawks like to sign Brandon Ingram?
The Hawks already have Young and Murray on their roster, adding Brandon to the mix would make them a lot better than they currently are. All the players are brilliant shot creators. The Hawks might not mind giving up their assets for such a quality player.

Why would the Pelicans trade-off Brandon Ingram?
The Pelicans are receiving the players that they want on their roster. It would be a no-brainer for them. Three decent players and two draft picks are likely to help the Pelicans more than the Hawks would benefit from it, even though they are getting the best player in the deal.
Will the Pelicans find their right starting lineup after this trade? Will the Hawks’ trio manage to build chemistry? We’ll keep you updated.
