The first look at the cast of Bridgerton Season 3 was released by Netflix during Tudum: A Global Fan Event that was held in Brazil on June 17th. Let us find out more about who the leading cast of this season is and what new scandalous drama will unfold at Mayfair this year. Keep reading to learn more.
Who is the leading couple of Bridgerton season 3?
This season skips over the love story of the second Bridgerton brother, Benedict Bridgerton, for that of his younger brother, Colin. The other brothers in the Bridgerton family are not as pressured as Anthony to find a wife and run the family business.
According to actress Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Hetherington, fans can look forward to a lead couple this season: Penelope and Colin Bridgerton, or Polin, as fans have nicknamed the couple. This season will be all about the Polin couple as they rediscover themselves and their love. Penelope is all set on becoming a new independent woman, and Colin is back fresh from his travels to France, Italy, and Spain.

The end of season 2 was not very good for Penelope, as she had a falling out with her best friend Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie). To make it worse, she overheard Colin tell his friends that he would never court Penelope. At the end of it all, she was left in utter distress and without a friend to console her.
