Britney Spears celebrated her success by stripping down to her underwear just two weeks ago.
Britney Spears released her first new music in six years with the single “Hold Me Closer,” which quickly rose to the top of the charts.
This time around, she is going one step further than before.
Britney strips off her top and her bottom, exposing her peach for her adoring fans to admire.
There she is, our lovely young lady!
Of course, Britney Spears can post as many revealing photos of her body as she wants on Instagram… However, even she is required to follow the guidelines.
That’s why she put a heart emoji on top of her peach—just in case—to make sure she didn’t violate any of the photo-sharing website’s notoriously stringent guidelines.
The “Free the Nipple” campaign has not been successful in changing Instagram’s policies.
And even if there had been a movement called “Free the Hole,” it wouldn’t have been successful.
Instagram’s goal is to generate revenue from advertising, but complicated external pressures make advertisers wary of nudity as a subject for advertising.
Britney has garnered a bit of a following on Instagram thanks to the lengthy and thought-provoking captions that she regularly posts.
The captions are goofy and occasionally make you cringe, but they also delve into the sensitive subject matter. The captions are filled with emojis.
After all, she is a mother of two sons in their teenage years and she is 40 years old. She is the type of person who will casually embarrass herself, much like the other mothers who came before her.
However, Britney did not include a caption for her “peach” photo that she posted this week.
It’s possible that she was still reeling from the aftermath of a post that she wrote not too long ago that was insensitive, tone-deaf, and unintentionally hurtful.
Or perhaps she was under the impression that her enviable posterior spoke for itself.
A few days ago, Britney posted a caption on her Instagram account in which she discussed the extreme body image issues and insecurities that she has struggled with throughout her entire life.
She, along with countless other Millennials, was raised in an era in which extreme thinness was not only considered to be the pinnacle of beauty but was also an expectation.
Britney Spears was raised in the spotlight during that era, setting her apart from the vast majority of other people her age. The pressures that she was under were enormous.
It is highly likely that she was completely oblivious to the concept of body shaming. During her time in the conservatory, she was unable to participate in much cultural development.
Keep in mind that she went almost 14 years without being able to use her phone as she pleased, let alone independently get together with her friends.
Shaming someone else about their body is never acceptable. The impact that it has upon other people takes precedence over the intentions that were behind it.
After that, Britney published an apology on her website that was genuine, well-reasoned and thought out.
“To be honest, I’m not trying to be critical of anybody,” she explained.
“What I posted is a projection of the insecurities I deal with all the time,” Britney acknowledged.
Britney noted that this is “as a result of how my parents and the media have treated me.”
After that, Britney communicated: “I would never intentionally body shame anybody because I know what it feels like.”
“I struggle with this because of how I feel about myself,” she clarified, “not because I hate how anybody looks.”
Britney then expressed: “I feel like my family knew I was insecure and people were trying to purposefully feed into this insecurity.”
They did this “by not letting me have a choice in the people who were on stage with me.”
To all of her devoted followers, Britney wrote: “I appreciate you all being understanding with me as I figure out this new life I’m living !!!”
