Taylor’s sister, Shawnequa Brown told the news, “I don’t know if any of us really knew how serious it was, we didn’t see the news, we didn’t really know what was going on in Buffalo. She was telling my sister that she was scared.” Taylor told her family group that she was stuck in blinding snow that was piling up fast. It was explained that Taylor called 911 but the first responders could not reach her due to the snow.
