So many developers and publishing houses want to take a piece of cake in the battle royal genre on a mobile platform. After the success of PUBG and Fortnite Apex Legends and Call of Duty are going to compete for their share in the market.
Activision, the publisher of CoD on PC, has hired TENCENT to port Call of Duty to the mobile platform. It should be noted that Tencent also ported Player Unknowns Battleground to iOS and Android which has been the rage around the world.
Call of Duty Mobile has all the ingredients to become a successful hit. First of all, it has a lineage of highly successful and fan favorites titles which transformed the era of first-person shooters.
What is Call of Duty Mobile?
On its official website, Call of Duty Mobile is defined as a new free to play version of CoD. The game that will bring all fan favorites to the mobile platform.
It is going to be a completely standalone title featuring all the favorite maps like Crash and Nuke.
Competitive game modes like Team Deathmatch, Frontline, Free4All and Search and Destroy, as well as a Zombie Mode, will also be available.
Signature weapons and all the favorite characters like Soap, Ghost and Captain Price.
Character looks can be customized by an in-game currency which can be obtained by grinding through missions or can be bought using real money.

According to the official website, CoD Mobile is going to be a first-person shooter.
Call of Duty Mobile Supported Platforms
CoD Mobile will be launched on all major platforms including both Android and iOS. Developers are working to support a plethora of devices but there is no minimum requirements specification sheet released yet.
Release Date
Call of Duty Mobile is still not available on any app store to download be it Google Play or Apple store.
Users who are interested in playing can preregister for the game so that they get notified when the game is launched.
However there is another benefit of pre-registering, Tencent might choose a lucky few to play the game early for their beta testing phase.
