Carol Vorderman has talked about how she dates five men at once.
Carol Vorderman, who is 62 years old, is a TV personality who is best known for hosting Countdown from 1982 to 2008.
She has been married twice. In 1985, she married Christopher Mather, and in 1990, she married Patrick King. She and King also have two children together.
In the past few years, the ex-Loose Women panelist has been very open about her love life, saying that she has more than one boyfriend.
But Carol Vorderman is being more honest than ever now that she has finally said what it’s like to have five partners at the same time.
In the video below, Carol Vorderman talks about her love life.
She told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning that she had very different ideas about love when she was younger.
When I was in my 20s I wanted to get married and have children. In my 60s I have a full life and I live with my children,
she says.
I don’t want to settle with anybody, I love my job, the business of education, a busy home.
People don’t want just one partner, we’re all single.
Carol Vorderman also says that there is only “one rule,” which is “do no harm.’
Vorderman continues:
‘Societies rules were very different and if a woman had a child without being married it was awful.
I went to Cambridge [University] at 17 and my mum sat me down and told me I need to think about settling down to get married.
I think age 50 plus you have to think do you want another man to live with you or do you want the nice bits.
Vorderman then says that everything has happened “naturally” and that she wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s come about naturally and I don’t want to settle with anyone,
she explains.
Everyone is single. It starts with friendship and there is an extra frisson.
When asked if her other relationships make her partners jealous, she says:
They have their lives as well, I never ask about that.
Zoe Ball says that her lifestyle makes her feel “empowered” on her morning talk show.
Vorderman says:
I’ll tell you why Zoe, I have been married I’ve had two grown-up children, I look after myself, I’m independent, I’m empowered.
As a woman nowadays you think actually I don’t want to live with one person.
She continues:
I love my life, I have fantastic friends, I can do incredible adventures.
I do all the things I want to do and I don’t want to have one single person in there.
