A series of changes has been announced by American Express to its Business Platinum Card.
The bank is updating the services that it provides to the holder of these cards by including more perks to it.
The updates will come into effect from the February of 2019. However with the addition of all these perks the annual fee of the card will be escalated by 30 percent.
The holders of these cards will be getting membership of WeWorkGlobal as a complimentary service.
The membership will be for a year and will allow the card holders to use any of the 335 facilities of WeWork. These facilities of WeWork are spread across 83 cities all over the world.
According to AmEx, the benefit from this is of worth $2700.
Moreover, the holders of the Business Platinum cards will also get statement credits which are annual and have worth of $200 when they will shop directly from Dell.
Many of the small businesses as well as sole proprietors do not purchase new computers each year but the credit by the bank applies to anything that is sold by Dell.
This includes monitors, hard drives, as well as bags, speakers and even drones, speakers, consoles, etc.
Moreover, AmEx is also increasing the availability of credit at the hotel properties. This will be applicable when the bookings in the hotels are made through the Hotel Collection Program of AmEx.
Earlier this benefit was that holders will receive $75 per stay which they can use toward food or drinks, spa treatments, etc. Now the credit value of this service has been increased to $500.
Despite the fact that the benefits which are being added by the bank will definitely be beneficial, especially to those who use these services but on the flip side the annual fee of the card will increase to $595 per year from $450 per year.
