Charge Point, one of the world’s leading charging stations for electric vehicles, announces that a major expansion plan has been planned and is equally shared between the markets of Europe and the United States.
During the month of September, the company said that it was aiming for 2.5 million charging grid points across the world by the year 2025. At the Web Summit conference that happened in Lisbon, CEO Pasquale Romano informed Reuters that the increase in charging points would be equally shared between Europe and the home markets in the United States.

The reason why Europe was chosen is that it is visible that Europe is potentially moving towards electric vehicle adoption when compared to the United States. The growth and development in Europe would benefit from the phased bans of diesel vehicles that are possible to happen in Europe in the 2020’s.
