On Sunday, Charlize Theron was seen on a lunch date with her new boyfriend, Alex Dimitrijevic, so it looks like spring is in full bloom for her.
The 47-year-old actress was seen with Dimitrijevic at a restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. She seemed to be in a good mood.
On the date, the Oscar-winning actor from the movie Monster was seen holding hands with Dimitrijevic, who works as a model.
Charlize Theron wore a maroon sweater with a V-neck, khaki pants with a lot of room, and brown sandals when she went to the restaurant.
On the outing, she swept her blonde hair to the side and wore black sunglasses. She also carried an iPhone and a black Dior bag.
Dimitrijevic wore blue jeans and beige brown shoes with a yellow Avanti Silk Hawaiian Aloha shirt with a tiger on the front.
Dimitrijevic, who has modeled for companies like Malbon Golf, AG Green Label, The Elder Statesman, and Combo Boxing in the past, had a beard and slicked-back hair.
On the Next Models page, it says that he is 6 feet 3 inches tall and lives in Los Angeles.
The South African actress’ last high-profile relationship was with Hollywood star Sean Penn in 2015. She has also dated actor Craig Bierko, singer Stephen Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, actor Stuart Townsend, and model Gabriel Aubry.
Jackson, who is 11 years old, and August, who is 7 years old, are Charlize Theron’s two daughters.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in December 2022, Charlize Theron said that if she had to choose between her career and her children, she would choose her children.
Charlize Theron said:
I love being a mom more than I love being an actor or a producer. And I never thought I would say that.
If somebody said to me tomorrow, “You can’t do both,” would I be sad to give up acting? Of course. But it would be a no-brainer for me.
She also said that her kids are the only thing on her mind right now:
Right now, everything I do revolves around when my kids are out of school for the summer, which usually means we’re shooting in a heat wave somewhere.
In 10 years, I can definitely see myself being an empty nester and just packing up and traveling three continents [directing] a TV show. But that’s not my life now.
Charlize Theron said at an event earlier this month that she will “f*** up” anyone who criticizes drag queens. She was speaking against laws that try to keep kids from watching drag shows.
Charlize Theron showed up at the Drag Isn’t Dangerous telethon, which featured both live and pre-recorded performances from Hollywood stars and people from the drag community.
The Mad Max actress used a lot of her time to praise drag queens and hint that she would fight anyone who tried to hurt them.
Charlize Theron, whose adopted son is identified as a woman, said that children face more dangers in the world. She seemed to be talking about gun violence, which she has spoken out against before.
We love you queens! We’re in your corner, and we’ve got you, and I will f*** anybody up who is, like, trying to f*** with anything with you guys,
she said at the event.
In all seriousness, there are so many things that are hurting and, really, killing our kids, right, and we all know what I’m talking about right now.
The Oscar winner said that
if you’ve ever seen a drag queen lip sync for her life, it only makes you happier, it only makes you love more. It makes you a better person.
F***, if I could do a death drop right now I would, but I would probably like, break my hip,
she said, referencing a popular drag move.
At the end of her time, she asked the audience to “support all the great organizations that are out there helping all of this nonsense going away like it should, all of these incredibly stupid policies.”
After the bill passed in the state Senate and Gov. Bill Lee signed it into law a few hours later, Tennessee became the first state to ban drag shows in public places.
Conservatives have started to criticize drag shows and anti-drag bills have been introduced in at least 14 other states, including Texas, Missouri, and Kentucky.
The language in all of the bills is similar to the language in the Tennessee bill, which says that “adult cabaret performances” can’t be shown in public places where children can see them.
“Adult cabaret” is defined in Tennessee’s bill as “performances for adults” that include “male or female impersonators.”
Charlize Theron often posts on social media about how much she supports the LGBTQ community. Last year, she was seen pouting in a picture with two people dressed in drag.
In April 2019, she told DailyMail.com that her oldest child, Jackson, who was adopted as a baby and raised as a boy, thought of himself as a girl.
Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,
Charlize Theron agrees, briskly.
Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said: “I am not a boy!”
So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive.
They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide.
My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be.
And I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that.
