As per an announcement made on Friday, Kicker Matt McCrane has been brought in by The Pittsburgh Steelers. McCrane will be replacing the injured Chris Boswell in the 53-man roster.
McCrane had a fair bit of experience in the game as he has impressive records and experiences this season. He has played for the Cardinals and The Raiders already this season. He has an impressive record of converting five out of total nine attempts into goals.
The Steelers had their eyes on McCrane from the last months. They were looking for a replacement for Boswell, as he was not performing up to his expectations.
Boswell has a fair record of converting 13 out of 20 attempts into a field goal. However, the Steelers didn’t look satisfied with his performance this year.
Matt McCrane was initially signed up by the Cardinals in the 2018 NFL draft. He was an undrafted free agent with his roots in the Kansas State.
