Chris Paul, the Golden State Warriors point guard, and Paul George, the Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard, are about to be swapped, according to the latest rumors. Bleacher Reports’ Grant Hughes has recently talked about a trade involving these two players and even though the deal can not be completed immediately, it might happen after September.
This will be one of the most exciting trades of the season if it happens. Here is all the information you need to know about the trade!
Who would be included in the Chris Paul trade deal?
The deal would land Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody and top-10 protected first-round picks in 2026 and 2028 in Los Angeles and in exchange, Paul George would be traded to the Golden State Warriors.
Chris Paul was signed by the Warriors in the Jordan Poole trade with the Wizards; the Clippers wanted to get the player then only but fell short of the Warriors’ effort.
Bleacherreport mock trade:

Why would the Chris Paul and Paul George deal be considered?
CP3 may or may not find his place in the starting lineup, and if he does, there are chances that things might not work out. But Paul George would go straight into the starting lineup of the Warriors and would play alongside Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Klay Thompson.
Jonathan Kuminga's honest reaction to the Chris Paul trade:
"I was surprised. Watching CP growing up, he plays a different type of basketball than the Warriors.
We play at a fast pace. We move off the ball a lot."

How did Chris Paul and Paul George perform last season?
Chris Paul played 59 games last season and averaged 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game and was a really important player for the Suns.
In the 56 games Paul George played last season, he averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists for the Clippers. The six-time All-NBA forward couldn’t appear in the playoffs due to a Knee Injury.
There are still so many things and scenarios to think over, Chris Paul and Stephen Curry are similar at everything including physicality and the position, the two of them together might not work at all whereas George Paul will.
The trade is on the cards, and it’s all about the time it takes to actually happen. We’ll keep you updated.
