While most of the NBA free agents have agreed to a deal, Clint Capela is an exception. Capela is a restricted free agent who is still trying to figure out the best deal for him.
Capela’s current team can match any offer he receives from other teams to acquire him. However, there are many teams with enough money to make a competitive offer to Capela, so he has many options to choose from. But he is stuck in this situation and can’t freely decide which team he should join this NBA summer season.
The team that is grabbing the most attention right now is the Cleveland Cavaliers, besides the Houston Rockets. The Cavaliers are making changes to their team by building it around players like Kevin Love and Collin Sexton.
While many teams are busy finalizing their rosters for the upcoming NBA Season, Clint Capela is figuring out the best deal for him.
I said they WANTED a first-round pick. Clearly they didn't get it.

Limited Options Dissappoints Capela
Like other free agents, Clint is not lacking trade deal options. He is trying his best to determine the best deal for him to secure his future. He wants to make his best move to land into a good team.
As of now, Clint has 2 best offers in front of him. Either he can choose to stay with the Houston Rockets for one more year for $4.7 million, which would allow him to earn more money next year.
Or he could agree to a long-term contract with the Rockets for five years worth $85 million, which gives him financial security and a chance to compete for a championship over the coming years.
Clint Capela’s Dilemma: Choosing Between Unsatisfactory Options
Clint is not happy with either of these options, and he is trying to figure out which one he should choose. He has a problem with the 5-year contract as he thinks he is worth more than the offered amount.
Free agent guard Devin Harris is in strong talks on one-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks, league sources tell Yahoo. Sides hopeful to finalize deal in next day.

No matter which deal he chooses, Capela will have to play for the Rockets next season. At least he is an important player for the team, as the Rockets need him to strengthen them.
