Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic: A Tribute Rekindled

A tournament that holds a special place in the hearts of many, it was introduced as a tribute to “The American Dream,” Cody’s late father, after his demise in 2015.

This iconic tournament has seen many stalwarts lift the trophy over the years. Moreover, to celebrate the prowess of female wrestlers, a women’s version was also initiated in 2021.
The fierce Dakota Kai and Raquel Rodriguez emerged as the inaugural champions, while the formidable team of IYO SKY and Alba Fyre (previously known as Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray) bagged the title in 2022.
