A Belgian couple left their baby at the airport check-in, in Tel Aviv because they didn’t want to pay for the child’s ticket.
The parents were going from Tel Aviv, Israel, to Brussels. At Ben-Gurion airport, they left the baby in the car seat at the check-in desk.
The staff at the airport saw that the parents had left the baby alone and called the police. The police stopped the couple and put them in custody so they could ask them questions.
After refusing to pay for one, they left their child in the stroller and walked to passport control, local media reported. Footage shows the little boy being left at the counter of the check-in desks,
a source reported.
We’ve never seen anything like this. We couldn’t believe what we were seeing,
said the manager of the Ryanair desk.
The staff also told N12 that the couple had missed their flight because they were late.
The couple arrived late for the flight after the flight’s check-in counters had closed. They left the basket with the baby and wanted to go up to the security check-in Terminal 1 to get to the departure gate.
The parents wanted to get through security and leave the baby on the conveyor belt.
According to Ryanair, people traveling with a child can either pay around £25 for a lap seat or can buy a separate seat at a standard adult fare.

Footage shows shocked check-in workers moving a blanket off a baby car seat to see the very small baby inside.
Last year, when the plane landed at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius, a newborn baby was found in the plane’s bin.
It happened on the first day of the new year.
According to a source,
A 20-year-old woman from Madagascar, suspected of having given birth on the flight, was arrested.
Airport officers made the discovery when they screened the plane for a routine customs check.
They rushed the baby to a public hospital for treatment.
The woman was forced to get a medical exam, which proved that she had given birth to the baby. At first, she denied that the baby was hers.
She was placed under police surveillance at the hospital.
