Criminal Minds Season 15 is finally confirmed and it will go on air in the autumn of 2019. The confirmation has come from CBS and the entire cast is expected to return, with many old faces.
When is the next season going to start?
CBS has not yet announced the starting date for the next season. The previous 14 seasons had started somewhere between mid September to beginning of October. Hence, we can expect the 15th series to release along these lines. But, Criminal Minds season 15 is going to have just 10 episodes.
So, CBS may schedule it to air in the beginning of 2020. The upcoming season will air in the USA first and then on Sky Witness in the UK.
What is the cast for the upcoming season?
We still don’t have the final cast of the season yet. But, the series leads are expected to be back for Criminal Minds season 15. Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) and David Rossi will be back. On the other hand, Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) might not be in the upcoming season because he was fired in 2016.

The upcoming season is scheduled to start shooting in the spring of 2019. Erica Messer, the showrunner of Criminal minds said that she wants to honour the history of the show. She still does not know how. So, we need to be patient for a while before we get the details of the upcoming season.
