Jason Schreier, the editor of Kotaku has claimed that CD Projekt has an internal target of releasing the Cyberpunk 2077 in this year. He claims that this report is verified by three different sources but many still think that this goal is unachievable.

Developers confirm the presence of gameplay presentation for Cyberpunk 2077
Another major event related to Cyberpunk 2077 will also take place in 2019. The Polish developer has confirmed that they will be there at E3 2019. This makes it certain that something big is cooking at CD Projekt Red for this year’s E3.
The developers have made it clear that they will not bring any demo that can be played by the public at E3 2019, but they will hold a closed-door presentation where they will showcase the currently available game.
CD Projekt is trying its best keep up the hype around the game as they have released the statement claiming that it will be the most crucial convention in their history.
What to expect from CD Projekt Red at E3 2019?
Developers have mentioned that there will be no playable demo for the public.
However, we expect hour-long gameplay footage showcasing the open world gameplay and gun mechanics. In the past CD Projekt Red has showcased 45-minute long gameplay footage for the gamers.
It is expected that the Polish developer will unveil the release date of the game which is rumored to be in 2020.
