Cyberpunk 2077 game is coming out in the next few months and gamers are eagerly waiting with their consoles to play the RPG title. The best part is that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on both Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox series gaming consoles.
But at the same time, PS5 and Xbox Series X are the next-gen consoles which will release later this year and some fans are worried that they have to buy two copies of Cyberpunk 2077. However, there is no need to waste any money as luckily, Microsoft and CD Projekt Red are working together to make sure that “Cyberpunk 2077′ copy for Xbox One will also be playable on Xbox Series X consoles.

Microsoft has recently shared the compatibility details of Xbox Series X and issued the statement, “Our commitment to compatibility means existing Xbox One games, including backward-compatible Xbox 360 and original Xbox games, look and play better than ever before.” The same has been shared by CD Projekt Red and retweeted by Cyberpunk 2077 official Twitter page. It is said that gamers should never be forced to purchase the same game twice or pay for any kind of upgrades.

CD Projekt Red gaming studios have confirmed that the same copy of Cyberpunk 2077 that runs on Xbox One will also work for Xbox Series X. Fans are now relieved that they can easily transition between the two generations of gaming consoles without any kind of issues. While Microsoft has assured the Xbox fans that they don’t have to waste any money by double purchasing the game, Sony is yet to answer the same for Cyberpunk 2077 PlayStation compatibility.
Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date, Gameplay, Character
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally slated to release in April this year but it was then postponed to September as CD Projekt needed some more work on the title. There is a lot of gameplay information about “Cyberpunk 2077” already out as recently Grimes also revealed a lot about her character Lizzy Wizzy.
The character named ‘V’ will be the main protagonist in the RPG title, where players can decide on V’s gender, ethnicity, and backstory. Cyberpunk 2077 release date has been now shifted to September 17 and it will run on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
