Cynthia Lennon and John Lennon met at the art school they were in. They both fell in love and for six years they were married. John met the artist Yoko Ono two years before the end of his marriage, and she became very interested in him. When Cynthia Lennon found John at home with Yoko, the marriage between John and Cynthia was over. Cynthia Lennon’s emotional night with Magic Alex that either did or didn’t end in s*x.
After John’s short answer, Cynthia Lennon quickly packed a few things and left the house. Jenny and Alex, who were roommates at the time, got her into a taxi and told her she could stay with them until she figured out what to do next.
TLYM says that she and Magic Alex stayed up all night drinking wine at a table with candles at his and Jenny’s apartment. Cynthia and Alex had never been close, but on this night, Cynthia needed a shoulder to cry on. So she told him about John and how they were getting married. Cynthia and Alex are said to have gone to his bedroom around dawn.

The Greek engineer Magic Alex worked closely with The Beatles for many years. Alex moved to London in 1965. To pay his bills, he worked as a TV repairman. Lennon saw his Kinetic Light Sculptures at the Indica Gallery, which is how he found out about him. The Beatle was very impressed by his “Nothing Box,” which was a small plastic box with lights that flashed at random.
