Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning’s relationship has been made right again.
The film “Man on Fire,” which was directed by Tony Scott and came out in 2004, was their first movie together.
They haven’t seen each other in almost 20 years, but in the next movie in Denzel Washington’s popular series, The Equalizer 3, they’ll be back on screen together.
A photo call was held in Italy before the film was made, so fans could see their favorite actors working together before the movie came out in 2023.
In the pictures, Washington, who is 67 years old, and Fanning, who is 28 years old, are smiling at each other while holding hands. Their on-screen reunion after more than 18 years, when Fanning was still a child, is a special treat for fans who have followed their separate careers since then.

In the movie Man on Fire, a young actor who was only nine years old at the time played Lupita Ramos, a kidnapped nine-year-old girl whom Washington’s former CIA bodyguard John W. Creasy was sent to save.
When she told people in June that she was going to be in The Equalizer 3, she also said that she and Washington would be getting back together. People says that the actress who played Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web put the following on her Instagram story: “My gratitude to share the screen once again with the legend of all legends is endless. Can’t wait.”
Elle Fanning, who is also an actor, posted a message on her own page congratulating her sister on the news. She called it: “The reunion to beat all reunions!!!!”
When they were promoting their movie “Man on Fire” in 2004, Fanning and Washington only had nice things to say about each other. IGN said that Fanning said that her older co-star was a role model for her. Fanning was said to have said: “I want to be like him one day.”
The nine-year-old girl went on to say that he was so nice and that she couldn’t wait to see him every day.
Even Washington gave the impression that he liked his co-star because he was very nice to her and praised how well she did her job.
“She’s a sweetheart, as you’ll see if you’ve talked to her already. She’s a bright young woman and she’s just a joy to be around. You can’t not like her,” he told IGN.
“Dakota is a child, but she is a wonderful actor. And that’s what we were doing together: acting. I don’t know what a ‘child actor’ is. She’s an actor who’s a child,” the Training Day star added.
In September 2023, people will be able to go to the theaters to see The Equalizer 3.
