Dan Bongino, who used to be a Secret Service agent and is now a conservative commentator, said on Thursday that he and Fox News couldn’t agree on a new contract.
It’s not some big conspiracy,
Dan Bongino said on his podcast.
There’s no acrimony. This wasn’t like some WWE brawl that happened. We just couldn’t come to terms on an extension.
Dan Bongino was the host of the Saturday night show “Unfiltered.”
He said that he could have done a last show this weekend, but he chose not to.
The blunt-speaking former NYPD officer started giving commentary on Fox ten years ago. He joined as a contributor in 2019 and will start his own Saturday night show in 2021.
His show “Canceled in the USA” on Fox Nation will also end, and his daily radio show will no longer be broadcast on the streaming service. Fox said that Bongino could still be a guest on one of their shows.
We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors,
Fox said in a statement Thursday.
