Because there is a lot that needs to be discussed, please take a seat and pour yourself a glass of wine.
We are finally getting some answers after being left hanging at the end of the cliffhanger that was season two, which was released as a teaser on September 24 by Netflix for the upcoming third and final season of Dead to Me, which will hit the streamer on November 17.
Before we get to the events of season three, however, the teaser reminds us of the dramatic way that season two ended. This is helpful because it has been over two years since the second season was released, and we need this reminder before we get to the events of season three.
In the recap, the character of Jen Harding, played by Christina Applegate, is seen candidly admitting to her actions and telling Detective Ana Perez about them (Diana Maria Riva), “There’s something I have to confess. I killed Steve Wood.”
Jen and her best friend Judy Hale (Linda Cardellini) are T-boned at the end of the second season of Dead to Me by Ben (James Marsden), who is the twin brother of Judy’s ex-husband, Steve. Dead to Me delves into the intertwined lives of Jen and her friend Judy Hale.
The teaser shows Jen being rushed to the hospital after the crash with Judy by her side, which is a sign that they both survived despite the fact that there is still plenty of shady drama to take place.
Despite the fact that Jen is bedridden, she still manages to maintain her foul-mouthed sense of humor, as evidenced by the question she asks the nurse: “Could you get the f–king doctor,” with Judy reiterating the same sentiment in a calmer tone, “Could you please get the f–king doctor?”
The nurse, who is obviously irritated, replies, “I will do my f–king best.”
The teaser comes to a conclusion with the pair presenting a united, “F–king thank you!”
On November 17, you can watch the premiere of Dead To Me on Netflix to find out how this story turns out.
