Deadpool 2 has become one of the most common searches on Netflix. We can understand why. But, fans will be disappointed to hear that it will never happen. Along with Deadpool 2, many other Fox movies will not available on Netflix. Fox movies have never been streamed on Netflix and with the launch of Disney+, future deals seem off too.
Disney’s acquisition of Fox
Last month, Disney organised a public call where Bob Iger, CEO of Disney had announced that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel would be the first Marvel/Disney movie to be available exclusively on Disney+.
Disney has also confirmed that the Fox franchise movies like Deadpool will maintain their brand integrity. This means that the upcoming Deadpool films will be R-rated.
Also, most probably the R-rated content will stream on Hulu instead of Disney+. Because, Disney now owns 60% of Hulu as well.
Where can you watch Deadpool 2?
So, we have established that Deadpool 2 will not be on Netflix. Because, Netflix and Disney are involved in a cold war anyway.
It can also be said that the movie might not have ever been available on Netflix since the first one is not available too.
Even the other hit Fox films like War for the Planet of the Apes and Logan are also not available on Netflix.
So, if Netflix then where? You can watch Deadpool 2 on HBO Now and HBO Go which had started on 16 February 2019.
Hence, Deadpool will rub shoulders with Game of Thrones and Westworld.
