The Clippers are already James Harden’s preferred destination, who has asked for a trade from the Sixers. DeRozan has many similarities with Harden, he is an attacking creator, he was born and brought up in Los Angeles. One of the things that makes him different is that he will be an easy signing. The Nets need an offensive creator who can set up other players. Their roster is full of quality players but most of them are great at supporting roles. What the Nets need is a focal point in their roster. Mikal Bridges is somebody who can get things done on his own. DeRozan can pair up with Nic Claxton, and the two of them might sync well together.

DeMar DeRozan to the Miami Heat
The Heat have been the talk of the town this whole summer with their Damian Lillard saga. While playing players similar to DeMar’s profile alongside their stars, they made it to the finals last year. DeRozan is a star player, and if things fail to work out for them in the context of Damian Lillard, they can try to land DeMar.
