Bothered me so much lol why isn’t anyone acknowledging it. Only reason would be those are super common earrings but through out the story it explicity seemed like they were kinda special or rare.
I’d say Muzan did recognize them and feared Tanjiro so much at the moment he made a human into a demon to escape instead of just killing him (which would have been really easy).

New legendary weapon acquired. The hiding place for the sword was brilliant. Despite it being 300yrs old Tanjiro is definitely gonna have it spruced up and use it right? It will probably be durable enough for him too since I’m guessing it belonged to the original Yoriichi. Didn’t he scare the shit out of Muzan with his sun wielding technique? (Sorry if I’m mixing up terms) So great how the doll had six arms to illustrate how badass the dude was.
Theory time: It seemed kind of weird that they don’t know about Yoriichi when in the intro he seems like one of the og corps founders. Has the history covered it up because he (possibly) got turned into upper one? Although idk about that because then how did Muzan even defeat this guy?
Also, I like Tokito even though he has no tact and seems to randomly zone the hell out.
