Demon Slayer Season 3 released episode 4, and fans aren’t happy with the mistakes made by Ufotable while animating the episode.
Demon Slayer Season 3’s episode 4 was released this Sunday, April 30, 2023. Fans took to Twitter to point out the mistakes made by Ufotable. While few of the fans were impressed with the overall episode as well as the animation, others were not that happy with it.

In the last episode of Demon Slayer Season 3, we see while Nezuko and Genya battled the other three Upper Moon Four Demon Hantengu, Tanjiro tried to engage in a fight with one of the four Upper Moon Demon Hantegu. But Tanjiro was too concerned about them. He eventually returned to Nezuko and Genya, at which point Hantengu’s forms knocked Tanjiro and Nezuko unconscious.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 4: Fans are angry on Studio Ufotable
As soon as Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 4 was released, Social Media was divided over how Ufotable failed to capture the emotions in the anime series shown by Tanjiro in the original manga.
Few of the fans immediately took to Twitter and pointed out the mistakes made by Ufotable and few others defended that the expressions were perfectly captured through the animation. They were impressed with Ufotable and are excited about the upcoming episodes.
The fans who are complaining about the animation pointed out that the whole episode was terrific except for a particular scene on which they are unable to come to terms. Ufotable failed to capture a particular expression of Tanjiro as illustrated in the manga. According to these fans, Ufotable shouldn’t have made any changes and should have stuck with the expressions that were illustrated in the original manga. The fans weren’t also impressed either with how Tanjiro’s attitude or his confidence wasn’t portrayed to the mark in the series.
However, a few other fans of Demon Slayer Season 3 took to Twitter and pointed out that they were really okay with the animation they were presented.
A Twitter User named @SketchyArtist05 even “re-illustrated” Tanjiro’s original expression, edited the picture and posted it on Twitter.
Although apart from a few of the negative reviews, the majority of the fanbase is quite impressed with the latest episode and looking forward to the next episode.
