What to expect in Demon Slayer Season 3?
Kimitsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith village will see Tanjiro travel to the Swordsmith village to repair his sword. The first episode of the season is released. The things fans are expecting to find in this episode are:
Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji
Many fans are expecting the Love Hashira (Mitsuri Kanroji) and Mist Hashira (Muichiro Tokito) to showcase their powers this season. They are among the most powerful Hashiras. The Mist Hashira is said to play a very important role this season and is said to slay one of the top moons of the Mugen gang.
Although their roles are unclear as of yet manga fans will be aware of them. Both these hashiras are introverted and shy. Despite this, they are said to be excellent swordsmen and are known to be very powerful among their peers.

Introduction of Upper Rank 1 Kokushibo
The most awaited part of the Demon Slayer Season 3 Swordsmith arc is the introduction of the upper 6 ranks of the Mugen squad. Upper rank 1 Kokushibo (Michikatsu Tsugikuni) is of particular interest as he is the older twin brother of the legendary Demon Slayer, Yoriichi Tsugikuni. He is said to have lived 500 years ago during the golden era of the demon slayers, known as the “Sengoku Era”. He is known to be the inventor of the sun breathing technique that later Kamado Tanjiro uses as the Hinokami Kagura.
Kokushibo is said to have held the Upper Rank 1 for the past 500 years, which makes him very powerful. Other upper moons also fear him for his abilities and powers. Although not much will be revealed about him this season, we can still hope to get a quick introduction to him. Upper rank 2, 4, and 5 will also make an appearance this season.
A Glimpse of Yoriichi’s Story
In Demon Slayer Season 3, Tanjiro is expected to use Yoriichi’s sword as a replacement for his broken sword. The sword is inside a training model of himself that Tanjiro will have to break in order to retrieve it. Fans might get a brief understanding of who he is in this season and might set the stage for a later flashback to his story in the upcoming seasons. The sun breathing style is the basis from which all the other breathing forms have been derived. As the inventor of such a style, Yoriichi dedicated his life to the demon slayer corps and its upliftment.
Although his appearance is similar to that of Tanjiro, they are not related and are the result of the use of the divine sun breathing technique. Fans are excited about his introduction and how his story will help in the development of our protagonist Kamado Tanjiro.
