The Detroit Pistons’ guard Killian Hayes is expected to leave for another team this offseason. The Pistons’ lottery pick couldn’t perform according to their expectation, and they are looking for another destination for him.
Killian’s performance was disappointing, and now the Pistons have more than enough youngsters to take care of the future. He has performed decent enough to attract some teams in the NBA, and the Pistons are said to be desperate to trade him. Here are the 3 most probable destinations for the Pistons’ French American professional.
Killian Hayes to the Toronto Raptors?
After the departure of Fred VanVleet, the Toronto Raptors have an urgency to sign a point guard. Hayen can not fulfill the void Fred would leave behind, and he is neither the type of player they would want as a player of the same kind hasn’t worked out for them.
Hayes has plus positional size, but he has been average at shooting. It seems like he is the polar opposite of VanVleet. The Raptors would like to have better options, but if not, getting Killian Hayes isn’t a bad deal too.

Killian Hayes to the San Antonio Spurs?
Victor Wembanyama is one French lottery pick the Spurs have already landed this offseason. Victor is considered to be LeBron James’ heir, and since they already have him, probably all they need to do is provide him with a smoother lane to travel on.
Players from the same nation sync well and help each other on and off the field. Hayes would do well under the Spurs’ coach. Signing Hayes won’t be a hassle considering the benefits he offers.

I realize none of these proposals are overly exciting but I don’t believe Killian has much value right now around the NBA. pic.twitter.com/C2cc1iG1AR

Killian Hayes to the Dallas Mavericks?
The Mavericks are the huge contenders of the title, they neither want a youngster to rebuild nor countrymen. They need backups. Killian is a decent point guard and is a promising player. He would grow well under Jaden Hardy, Seth Curry, and Luka Doncic. He will serve as a good backup in case something goes wrong for the Mavericks. Will the Mavericks give him a chance?
All three teams have different reasons to get Killian, but will any of them really do it? We’ll keep you updated.
