Aladdin is an animated classic which is a part of every 90’s kid and it seems like ages since it was last graced the big screen. But next year, we will see a live-action remake of the Disney’s animated classic.
We have seen a lot of remake of Disney’s animated classics and all of them have fetched a great deal of success for Walt Disney Studio. Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book and Cinderella were some of the movies that enthralled the fans and were also massive box office hits. The news about Aladdin is not very surprising as fans might have already expected this.
Will Smith shared the first poster of the film on Instagram. Smith will be taking up the Genie’s role in the film. Along with the poster, he commented on social media and said,
LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see me BLUE!

As from the poster, you can see that it is kept completely simple with just a picture of the magical lamp where Genie has live for thousands of years. As the story goes and you all have seen that Aladdin comes along and lets the Genie out in the world by rubbing the lamp. With Genie’s help, he impresses Princess Jasmine.
Robin Williams played the role of Genie in the original Aladdin which will be taken by Smith now. He already has high standards to fulfil for the role. Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud will play the role of Jasmine and Aladdin recently. Guy Ritchie put the script together along with John August and Vanessa Taylor.
The movie is expected to be released in May 2019.We are sure that everyone is excited to revisit their childhood with the remake of this Disney’s animated classic.
