As per some reports, Doom Patrol members are still filming for season two and it will finish production by April. The best guess for Doom Patrol season 2 premiere is Summer 2020 and once they start filming, a trailer containing the footage from the first few episodes will be out soon.

Doom Patrol Season 2 Plot Spoilers and Connection with other DC Shows
Crisis on Infinite Earths on CW proved that every DC show takes place in the same multiverse and it is already established that Doom Patrol and Titans takes place around the same time and can easily crossover with each other. While Doom Patrol Season 2 might not have a crossover like Arrowverse, we could still expect a few of the characters from Titans and other DC shows to have some cameos.
Doom Patrol Season 2 plot could focus on Dorothy and her powers where she could bring imaginary characters in her mind to real life.
