Game of Thrones Season 8 is almost here, with the final season of the chapter of the hit HBO series arguably the most massive event of the whole year.
Game of Thrones fans had to almost wait for the eighth season of the epic. Game of Thrones Season 8 will be the end of the journey for Daenerys Targaryen, the Starks and Jon Snow, along with the Westeros.
The premiere for the episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 will air on April 14, 2019, and right before it, a piracy warning was issued.
Can you download the pirated version of Game of Thrones Seasons? Yes.
Game of Thrones tops year-end lists of the highly pirated shows.
However, the previous year Games of Thrones lost to The Walking Dead, as no new GOT episodes were aired last year.
But now, many analysts claim that before the start of season 8 of Game of Thrones, piracy could soon rise.
This comes from Charlie Ergon, Chairman and co-founder of Dish network in the United States. Dish Network is also currently involved in a dispute with HBO.
US Satellite provider warned about the rise of piracy levels of Game of Thrones throughout April, post the show’s return.
Bergen said : Every young person knows how to go onto the internet and get a code and get HBO. We hate to talk about piracy, but that will be the result.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Huge Target For Malware and Viruses
This comes after it emerged last year that pirated versions of GOT are a huge target for malware and viruses.
Research conducted by Kaspersky Lab and BestVPN.com reveals that the pirated versions of Game of Thrones episodes carry the highest risk of having malware.
Mariya Fedorova, a security researcher at Kaspersky Lab, said: “Other TV shows, such as Stranger Things, WestWorld and Orange is the New Black are not as popular as Game of Thrones.
“Nevertheless, they are being used in malware distribution schemes.”
While Sean McGrath, editor of BestVPN.com, said:
“These are exciting times for television fans. Streaming services have shaken things up and we are living through a new golden age of TV programming. But our love of television and desire to get things instantly makes us easy targets for those who wish to do us harm. Malicious executable files can easily be bound to video files, which means all a user needs to do is start watching a video and their computer could be infected. That’s why it’s vital to run quality antivirus software, regardless of platform or operating system.”
