Dwight Howard who currently plays as the center for Washington Wizards will probably be undergoing a surgery to get relief from a gluteal injury. Affected by the injury, he hasn’t been playing his natural game in the season lately.
Having intensified a piriformis muscle injury in the game against Portland in November this year, he was recommended by a nerve specialist in LA to undergo the surgical procedure. Howard hasn’t made the final call yet as he would then have to miss a significant portion of the regular season for the recovery. He has already missed 12 of the Wizard’s 21 games this season and the training camp as well.
