Early Life
Eiza González Reyna, born on January 30, 1990, in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, is the daughter of Carlos González and Glenda Reyna. Her mother was a well-known Mexican model.
She has an older brother named Yulen. When she was twelve years old, she was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder and received treatment for it.
At the age of twelve, she experienced the tragic loss of her father in a motorcycle accident. In September 2015, she disclosed that this event led her to struggle with compulsive overeating and depression from the ages of fifteen to twenty. Eiza attended both the ‘American School Foundation’ and the ‘Edron Academy’ in Mexico City.

Career
In 2003, Eiza joined ‘M & M Studio’ in Mexico City. The acting school is run by famous actress Patricia Reyes Spíndola. She studied there until 2004.
At age fourteen, she enrolled in a three-year course at the prestigious entertainment school ‘Centro de Educación Artística’ in Mexico City. There, she caught the attention of producer-director Pedro Damian.
A few years later, Damian gave her the opportunity she needed by casting her in a remake of the well-known Argentine children’s telenovela, ‘Floricienta’.
She achieved true success when she starred in the Mexican soap opera ‘Lola…Érase una vez’, an adaptation of ‘Floricienta’ produced by Televisa. The show premiered on February 26, 2007, and ran for two seasons until January 11, 2008, with her playing the main character of Dolores “Lola” Valente.
