Elena Huelva, best known for documenting her life as she battled cancer, has succumbed to her illness. The Spanish influencer was only 20 years old at the time of her death. It is reported that Huelva was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma at 16. Over the past year, she has amassed over 1 million followers on her Instagram, becoming an inspiration to many. She told her followers that she was diagnosed with cancer in December 2019.
Her family confirmed the news of her death via an Instagram story. The message read, “Since this morning, Elena has been dancing for you and looking at you from her star. Thank you for everything.” She bid farewell to her followers in a video here she can be seen in a hospital bed. Elena Huelva says, “My life has not been in vain. They found more disease in my windpipe, which is very dangerous, as you know, because that’s where we breathe. I don’t need to say much more. I want to make it clear that I’ve already won.”

Shortly before her death, she informed her followers that she was struggling with her health. She posted a picture of herself holding hands with her loved ones. The caption read, “Today I woke up not in the best way. These are very difficult days, they are becoming more and more complicated, but as you know I am stronger, and more complicated.” before ending his last post, she wrote, “I want you to know that I already won, a long time ago. We continue, always”
Huelva explained that despite her crumbling health, she was allowed to celebrate Christmas with her parents Manuel and Emi, and older sister Emi, 26, at their home. However, she broke the news to her followers in December 2019. She said, “It really has been a roller coaster, it started with bad news, a bad bug had come into my life, and I had to kill it somehow. I felt fear, insecurities, I kept asking questions like; Why me? Am I strong enough to kill him? And in a few days after finding out, I used all my strength to defeat him and show him that I was stronger than him.”
