The third episode of the final season of Game of Thrones was released this Sunday and fans were devastated to say goodbye to one of their favourite characters. But they were not alone in their mourning, Emilia Clarke a.k.a Danenerys also broke her silence on the aforementioned death.

The Game of Thrones episode shows the end of many favourite characters as our heroes fought against the army of the dead. Among those who fought bravely and passed away was Ser Jorah Mormont.
Emilia Clarke posts tribute
As a tribute to the passing of her trusted sidekick, Emilia Clarke posted a picture of the two of them. She captioned it,
“YOU’RE SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST, BETTER THAN ANYONE, ANYONE I’VE EVER MET…”
The picture itself was a snapshot of the two of them presumably behind the scenes on the set of Game of Thrones. Since its posting, it has seen over 3 million likes.
GOT fans flocked to the post to express their emotions. Some of them paid their respect for Ser Jorah, while others felt hurt.
The character of Ser Jorah Mormont stood with Daenerys Targaryen since the beginning of the show, and his passing was indeed a painful shock to the Khaleesi.
