Emily Ratajkowski has spoken up about the viral photos of her and Harry Styles kissing on the streets of Tokyo six months after his breakup with her friend Olivia Wilde.
While discussing the internet outrage over their passionate make-out session, the supermodel, 31, said that she had not expected to be accused of breaking the girl code by hooking up with her friend’s ex.
‘I didn’t expect this to happen, but I think, in general, there’s a reason certain celebrities live in LA, hire security, don’t go to public restaurants,’ she told Spanish Vogue.
The mother-of-one, who filed for divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard in September after four years of marriage, went on to say that it has been very odd to have certain situations’ that ‘the whole world’ finds out about and comments on.
‘I’m just a person who’s gone from a three-year relationship to a four-year one,’ she said, nodding to her past marriage and relationship with Jeff Magid, between 2014 to 2018.

The best-selling author went on to say that ‘this is the first time in a long time’ she has ‘been in a dating period.’
Ratajkowski famously married Bear-McClard for only a few weeks before they married in a New York City courthouse in February 2018.
‘The interest there is in that particular area is very strange. Not that I’m surprised, but it’s a tiny slice of my life,’ she reflected to the publication.
Following her hot kiss with Styles, she alluded to her troubled friendship with Wilde, saying ‘that’s how it is’ and it’s ‘just an unpleasant thing.’
Nonetheless, she expressed her ‘ad for Olivia [Wilde]’ for also experiencing’slut shaming’ on multiple occasions, according to a translation of the interview.
She stated that her ‘life is currently concentrated’ on her two-year-old son, Sylvester, and work.
‘But, I guess these issues don’t inspire the same flashy headlines. The invasion of private aspects is very hard for me,’ the Gone Girl actress stated.
Following her kiss with Styles, an insider exclusively informed us that she felt ‘betrayed’ by her ‘buddy.’
The House star, however, refuses to let the ‘betrayal’ get her down and focuses on moving on with her life, including getting back on the dating scene, according to the insider.
‘Olivia does not want to be dragged into this mess and she refuses to go backwards in her life,’ the source went on. ‘She is focused on her career and her kids and not giving this any more of he energy.’
In terms of her romantic life, a source told us that Olivia ‘is open to dating again, but she refuses to settle for anything less than she deserves.’
She has been rumored to be rekindling her relationship with ex-husband Jason Sudeikis, 47, with whom she shares son Otis, eight, and daughter Daisy, six, after splitting with Harry in November 2022.
However, the insider claims Olivia has no plans to reconcile with either of her ex-boyfriends.
‘Olivia did not break up with Harry to get back with Jason and there is a zero per cent chance of them getting back together,’ the insider continued.
‘Jason and Olivia are friends and are in a great phase right now, but that ship has sailed a long time ago.’
In recent months, Emily Ratajkowski has been linked to several of Hollywood’s most sought after men, including Pete Davidson – who she briefly dated after highly-publicized split from Kim Kardashian.
In September 2022, Emily Ratajkowski filed for divorce from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, who she married in 2018 after only dating for a few weeks.
Emily Ratajkowski and Sabastian, who are the parents to two-year-old son Sylvester, split over accusations that Sebastian had cheated on her.
Meanwhile, Olivia and Harry went their separate ways in November 2022 after doing a major push for Olivia’s successful film Don’t Worry Darling, which grossed over $85 million at the box office.
At the time of their split, People Magazine claimed the two were ‘taking a break’ from their romance due to having ‘different priorities that are keeping them apart’.
‘He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in LA. It’s a very amicable decision. They’re still very close friends,’ a source told People.
‘Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart. The public pressure on them has been difficult.’
‘They’ve had ups and downs throughout the relationship,’ a friend told the publication.
Olivia was pictured dancing the night away with her two children during Harry’s November 15 concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles prior to their breakup.
Olivia and Emily Ratajkowski happened to be at Harry’s Paris show in June of last year, and they were both singing along to his songs while standing right next to each other.
