As Gen Z tries to get rid of Eminem, Millennials are fighting back.
Slim Shady has sold about 220 million records around the world, making him one of the most successful rappers of all time.
Eminem has also won a lot of awards, including 15 Grammys and an Oscar for his song “Lose Yourself.”
Even though Eminem is one of the most popular musicians of his generation, some people dislike him so much that they want to get rid of him.

Gen Z is a group of people born between 1997 and 2012, and Eminem’s songs seem to bother them.
The singer of “Without Me” is known for having rude and controversial lyrics, which Gen Z finds hard to deal with.
Millennials, who were born between 1981 and 1996, are fighting back and defending “The Real Slim Shady” rapper. They praise his lyrics while criticizing modern rappers.
The song “Love the Way You Lie,” which he did with Rihanna in 2010, is the one that Gen Zers have the most trouble with.
In the song, which is about a bad relationship, the rapper says that if his girlfriend ever leaves him again, he will tie her to the bed and set his house on fire.
The user said that the song celebrates domestic violence in a now-deleted TikTok post that got over 120,000 likes.
This made millennials and fans of the rapper rush to Eminem’s defense. One person wrote:
Pretty sure Eminem will cancel Gen Z if they try to cancel him.
Another person brought up his song “Stan,” which tells the story of a fan with an unhealthy crush on the rapper.
This user wrote:
The kids who ‘Stan’ everything don’t even know where ‘Stan’ came from.
A third added:
You can’t cancel someone for being offensive whose entire point was to be offensive.
They have been trying to cancel him since 1999. Every attempt made him more and more famous. Good luck,
expressed a fourth.
Someone else added:
Eminem and South Park are forever cancel-proof. You can try, but you’ll fail. Especially if they decide to fire back.
This attempt to stop the “My Name Is” musician got his attention, so he wrote a song in response to those who didn’t like him.
Eminem raps in a song called “Tone Deaf,” which came out soon after cancel culture tried to hurt him:
I won’t stop even when my hair turns grey (I’m tone-deaf).
Cause they won’t stop until they cancel me,

Gen Zers have been able to get celebrities canceled before, but it looks like Eminem was too big for them to handle.
