Demi Moore wants to help her ex-husband Bruce Willis as much as she can while he is fighting dementia. She is reportedly now living with his current wife, Emma Hemming Willis, and their two young daughters, according to reports.
Moore, 60, and Emma Heming Willis, 44, are helping each other out after the ‘Die Hard‘ star, 67, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia on February 16. This news broke the hearts of the star’s family. The sad news came after it was found out that the actor had aphasia, a disorder of language that makes it hard to talk. Because of his condition, which is often caused by a brain injury or stroke, he had to stop acting in March 2022.
‘Demi has been a rock’
Demi has moved in, and she is not leaving until the very end.
The “Striptease” actress also stayed with her ex’s family during the COVID-19 pandemic, sources close to the family said.
At first no one outside the family could understand what Demi was doing living with her ex and his new wife, but now it makes sense,
the insider continued, adding,
Demi has been a rock for the family and is determined to make sure every day Bruce has left on earth will be filled with love.
Moore’s rep told the outlet that Moore “hasn’t gone all in” on the new living situation, but another source said the actress “never left” after staying with them through the pandemic.
Now Bruce will leave before she does,
the source added.
‘They know he won’t be around forever’
As Willis’s health keeps getting worse, his ex-wife and his current wife have become very close.
Demi has been in constant contact with Bruce and Emma,
a source reportedly said earlier this year, adding,
She’s taking every opportunity she can to spend time with him. The family has been spending as much time with the legendary action hero as they can.
They know he won’t be around forever,
another insider spilled, adding,
So they’re cherishing every single moment. They are hoping for a miracle, especially since his daughter Rumer is expecting his first grandchild.
‘Painful to see him deteriorate’
He’s determined to stay coherent and lucid for as long as possible so his grandchild can have some happy memories of a grandfather who was present and active in his or her life,
Willis’ friend reportedly said in February, adding,
He’s dead-set that this new baby is going to get the best he has to offer.
The actor’s oldest children have found it hard to see him get worse and worse.
It’s been painful to see him deteriorate,
the source said, adding,
The older girls miss the old Bruce — the one who used to tease them about their boyfriends and give them unsolicited advice.”
After Willis’s health problems, Moore and Willis are closer than ever. People have thought of them for a long time as the nicest exes in Hollywood. They have three daughters together: Rumer, 34; Scout, 31; and Tallulah, 28.
