Erin was born on July 22, 1998, in Rochester, New York, located on Lake Ontario. Growing up in a Republican household, she was familiarized with politics early on. To help out Gary E. Smith’s campaign for city court judge, she took part in a parade in the area and designed T-shirts.
She was brought up with four siblings: Megan Callanan Lasaponara, Christine ‘Chris’ Hickey (both sisters), and Eamon Eric Callanan (brother). Sadly, Eamon passed away at 28 due to an opioid overdose.
In 2006, Erin Perrine graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School in Rochester, where she was heavily involved in student government, cheerleading, and lacrosse.

Career
Erin Perrine started her professional journey as an intern for Senator John Cornyn in 2009. Her outstanding hard work and capabilities left the Senator so impressed that he retained her as his press assistant upon her college graduation. She subsequently moved up the ranks to become his deputy press secretary and eventually his press secretary.
In 2013, Erin relocated to Arizona to become the communications director for Senator Jon Kyl. As part of her role, she assisted in formulating his stance on a variety of topics, for example, immigration reform, national security, and health care. In addition, she was responsible for handling his media relations and social media accounts.
In 2015, Erin Perrine came back to Washington, D.C., and became the national press secretary for the NRCC. Her duties included formulating and carrying out the NRCC’s media plan for the 2016 and 2018 election cycles. She was also the NRCC’s spokesperson and was in charge of interacting with national and local journalists.
In 2019, Erin Perrine was appointed director of press communications for the Trump campaign. She managed the press team, liaised with allies, surrogates, and media outlets, and would often appear on TV and radio to speak in favor of the President’s policies and accomplishments.

Nicholas Perrine is an ex-Marine Corps captain, a veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, who is currently employed as a senior manager at Lockheed Martin Corporation, a leading aerospace and defense firm.
